My take on some conspiracies

Elvis being alive:

Ummm. No. This one was brought to my attention by my Mamaw…who believes it. There are genuinely people that think Elvis is still alive and living in the blocked off parts of Graceland. They say they have seen someone in the windows upstairs or have heard noises coming from up there. Could it be somebody cleaning? Of course not…that would make too much sense : /

Mermaids are real:

Ok…this is tricky. While I don’t believe that there are beautiful half human half fish swimming around and singing, I do think there is definitely the possibility that something could absolutely exists that is somewhat like that. I mean, only about 20% of the ocean has been explored so there is SO much that could be out there. I fully believe there could be a creature that would resemble a “mermaid”, but I also believe that it would be much more terrifying than what we see in fiction.

Bigfoot is real:

Again…tricky. I really don’t know how to feel about this one. I don’t think there is a huge ape/human running around in the woods, but I definitely wouldn’t rule out that something similar could exist. They have those shows where people search for bigfoot and they ALWAYS find some “hair” or a “footprint”…but somehow never find him?? And it’s been going for 12 seasons? I mean…come on now. Surely you would’ve found something by now.

The Earth is flat:

Be so for real. I don’t understand this at all. There is literally satellite imaging to prove this. If the Earth was flat then the sun would rise and set at the same time for everyone and there would be no need for time zones. This one is just so dumb to me…sorry if you’re a flat earther : /

The government is listening to us:

Ok now this is just a straight up fact. Not only the government, but just our devices in general…which I’m sure are connected anyways. But, you’re telling me that I mention something one time that I have never looked up EVER and all of a sudden I’m seeing ads for it all the time? They don’t even TRY to be inconspicuous about it. Quite literally we are being spied on all the time and I FIRMLY believe that. Do I think it’s from drone pigeons and cameras hidden in billboards? Not necessarily, but I fully believe they have their ways and are 100% using them.
